Ich habe eine junge Dame in die Werkstatt bekommen, die nicht sägte, sondern nur hopste. Zuerst habe ich die Schränkung im Schraubstock weggedrückt. Dann sägte sie besser, verzog aber. Diagnose: Das Blatt war auch noch verbogen. Also habe ich das Blatt gerade gebogen, sie wieder geschränkt und zweimal durchgefeilt. Nun ist sie eine Säge und keine Hopse.
Repair of a young lady: A young saw came it to my shop, that didn't saw but sprang around. So I reduced set in the mechanic vise. Now shae saw, but not straight. The blade was bowed, too. So I rebwoed the blade, set her correctly and sharpened her twice. Now she is a saw but not a spring any more.
